Look, we all know politicians are in it for the money, but most at least try to camouflage their criminality: but not this clown. |

Certainly possible. His blatherings can move the markets significantly. Knowing what he will say certainly can be used to make billions. I’m wondering about the legality of this mess. If someone knows that Apple made 3 billion dollars last quarter instead of the predicted 2 billion, buying Apple is called insider trading. But is ‘General knowledge’, like, we’ve made a deal with Iran to keep Hormuz open, and acting on it, technically ‘insider trading’? Some other criminal event? |

| terapined1 Member since: Nov 26, 2024 Threads: 2 Posts: 700 | Listening to a juror being interviewed They were shocked that the sheriffs were able to get a search warrant on the flimziest of evidence A person arrested for drugs was willing to tell the Sheriff's anything What a whopper of a story She said Afroman had a basement dungeon with milutiple prisoners doing their business in a bucket WTF. The sherriffs bought it even though the informant kept changing their story Afroman has no basement Jurors were shocked that a sherriff can search somebody's home due to an obvious outrageous lie A basement dungeon with prisoners!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Nobody in the area missing. No local kidnappings reported Yet the Sheriff's bought it lock stock and barrel. Juror said that was the most shocking part of the case |

Since when in the US does the plaintiff pay the defendant's costs? In the US, both parties pay their own costs, in general. in England, however, the loser pays. Not taking the cops' side on this, but the judge did find there were claims that deserved to go to a jury. |
