In the ‘80s I worked for a defense contractor on a project that made missile guidance systems. That cartoon clipping was pinned up everywhere. The mind hungers for that on which it feeds. |

I interviewed with Ford Aerospace systems around 1990. After interviewing they were bought out by Loral and I never heard back. I don't know if I made a poor impression or if they just had a hiring freeze during the sale. At my age a Life In Prison sentence is not much of a detrrent. |

| DoubleGold Member since: Jan 26, 2023 Threads: 30 Posts: 2506 | I went to the mall yesterday to buy some shoes. It's an upscale type of mall in a good area close to where I reside. The mall was jam packed. I have large feet (13") and I didn't know the language to easily figure out what an equivalent size is (45). Very few stores carried my size. So that eliminated most of the stores. One store carried my size so I looked at the limited styles they had in the size. This girl was helping me. She did a great job and I was very satisfied with her service but I didn't like the styles. Then close to the end of the process, my lady told me she was a man. I couldn't believe it. If he had the right style, I would have bought from the person and still would. One thing I noticed relative to the USA, is the person didn't touch me, like helping me with the shoe placement on my foot. |

It was a beautiful piano centered on the first floor overlooked by upper floors. The person was around 24-25 with a powerful voice and an expert playing the piano. He was singing Rocket Man by Elton in English. He sounded just like Elton. The crowd gathered around him for four floors up. For me, it was emotional. |
