My father wrote a cookbook a couple of years ago. Pretty ambitious for an 83 year old man that never worked in a kitchen and never wrote any books or articles. At my age a Life In Prison sentence is not much of a deterrent. |

Been cooking since I was 8 years old. Went to cooking school for a year after I sold the bar in California. I am not only a good cook, I am an excellent cook. I could have been a restaurant chef but at the time I went to cooking school it was a very low paying job. The world was not loaded with celebrity chefs like it is now. So I dropped out of school and did something else. If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose. |

What does that have to do with my cooking abilities. I have cooked just about every day of my life since I was about 13. People love my cooking, at one point my wife and I had several dinner parties. I gave that up, people are too finicky. Oh I don't eat salmon, hold on I can't eat stuffed mushrooms. Screw that. If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose. |
