Surprisingly my health has been better lately. My diastolic is down an average of 50 points. The doctors are thinking the high blood pressure may have been a result of the broken back. It has been almost a year since the lumbar fusions and I don't seem to have any side effects from it.
At my age a Life In Prison sentence is not much of a detrrent.

I think it's essential that we come together as a nation and create definitive lyrics for Lulu Had a Steamboat.

Or, is it Miss. Mary Had a Steamboat?

This is going to be tougher than I thought.

The version I learned in school (with a few modifications):

Lulu had a steamboat,
The boat was in a wreck;
The steamboat went to Heaven,
And Lulu went to--

Hello, Operator,
Give me number 9;
If you disconnect me,
I'll kick you in your be--

Hind the refrigerator,
There laid a piece of glass;
When Lulu fell upon it,
She broke her big fat

Ask me no more questions,
I'll tell you no more lies;
The boys went in the forest,
And Lulu followed behind

On her bicycle,
With a seat made of glass;
Every time she hit a bump
A piece went up her

Ask me no more questions,
I'll tell you no more lies;
Lulu's on her bicylcle,
Riding to her two guys

Lulu had two boyfriends,
Both were very rich;
One a son of a baker,
The other a son of a

Bit my little finger,
Then he bit my little thumb,
I guess I could go on,
But this song is really dumb.

I'm in the market for some prefab steps, but I'm not buying these steps. Yes, I know that they must intend the symbol " to mean feet, surely, but I can't stand the ignorance, in my view, of using the traditional symbol for inches to mean feet [this for my entire life]. Having to give up the word 'goat' as a shortening of 'scapegoat' in the world of sports is sacrifice enough. Yes this is a rant.
