I don't think he can out Senators but can indirectly install term limits.


So the public needs to clean-house.

For example, Senators make too much money.

It's a corrupt syndicate.

And the syndicate is running up trillions and trillions in debt.

In return for a bad deed (increasing debt), each gets $1.6 million reward per year average increase.

And that is why Trump won. Even in the 2016 primary they had a hard time getting low energy Jeb to do an interview but Trump made himself available as much as possible.

But you are so clueless that you do not understand the briefing room is a daily thing where outlets can ask questions. Trump does not have time for. So Biden got rid of the outlets that might have asked real questions and just let in LSM outlets that asked about his favorite color and other softballs.

I think there is another Trump overreach happening. He is offering ALL Federal employees an 8 month severance package to quit. 8 months of full pay and full benefits. The goal is laudable, to trim unnecessary and duplicative and costly employees from the budget. But offering ALL is just stupid. Maybe it is good business sense to cut 10% of the workforce from Department Z. Then offer this deal to the first 10% of Department Z members that apply. If 30% take up the offer, you have to hire new workers, while of course still paying those that are no longer working.

And 8 months seems bizarrely high. You are working in the mailroom at some office and they will pay you for 8 months, while you can go get a similar mailroom job at Company Q? I took one of these silly severance packages from my first job; it paid me for half a year to do nothing. Of course I got a new job so adding the two up was lucrative. It was good for ME, but certainly not my initial employer who had to replace me!

What should have been done…. use Mr. DOGE to identify which departments have two many employees. And more specifically, what exact job descriptions. Then offer those employees some sort of package, likely far less than 8 months worth of freebies. This trimming of the fat is a good idea, but is NOT an emergency that needs to be done haphazardly. Offering the deal to ALL federal employees is haphazard.

Boy you are clueless. Presidents have done interviews on the golf course. Trump dictates books to ghost writers in the oval office. That's where Bob Woodward did much of his interview for his last book.
