Whatever you say. You DIDN’T say how many docs were moving one way or the other. You implied docs moving to Canada can make more money. THEY DONT. My real life experience was of docs wanting to come here, and $$ was by far the main reason.

You said ‘as a physician you’d clean up in Canada’.

Like most liberals, no way you’ll just admit you were wrong. Don’t tell me how many are moving across as proof ‘you’ll clean up’. Your arguments are often embarrassingly poor.

For a physician, you are absolute schit at data. You know better than to use anecdotal information, especially from a geographical area that would skew results, For every real life experience of docs wanting to come here, I have an equal or greater number of docs coming here as interns and residents then going back to Canada with no intention of practicing here is our terrible HC system. Wanna play a game of "who's bigger"? I like my chances with my anecdotal-and real-data compared to yours..

I''ll go toe to toe with an anti-woman anti-worker, anti-immigrant doctor any day of the week. Your arguments are often just embarrassing.

Too late for negotiations.

General Donald Jr. arrives in Greenland ahead of the invasion.

Republicans have been failing for years to convince enough veterans that private care will be better so they can remove all veteran hospitals or privatize them. Real life beats Republican propaganda. I believe Veterans have friends who have private care and they are not impressed with what they see or hear about it. If they were impressed, why wouldn't they change?

Canadian healthcare outranks the US in almost every measure. Canada has a life expectancy of 81.3 years. The US is 77.4 years. The US also has higher infant mortality and preterm birth rate. Stick with being a paralegal.

It does outrank the USA in how long you have to wait for care, I will give you that. But you need to learn stats. Life expectancy is not really a good way to rate "healthcare." The USA is a more diverse and violent society than Canada. Neither has anything to do with healthcare. People in the USA also like doing more high-risk activities. All of this skews that number.

The USA counts infant mortality in a way that makes it higher than most other countries. I forget the exacts, but for example the USA will count stillborn as infant mortality whereas many other countries do not.

People come from Canada to the USA for lifesaving care, not the other way around. Canadian healthcare is great---until you get sick.

Now this is hilarious. CNN analyzed a whole bunch of data from polls that were taken and came to the conclusion that only 5% of Americans in 2024 took January 6th seriously. That means 95% of Americans consider January 6th as a nothing burger. And this was the platform that camel face ran on, that's how out of touch she was. That's how out of touch the Democrats were. Every time she mentioned January 6th or anytime anybody in her party mentioned it America did a collective yawn. And they wonder why they lost. The Democrats orchestrated the entire January 6th debacle and then for 4 years tried to make it matter and nobody bought it because it's just too ridiculous. Just another hoax among all the others.

Been saying since 2021 that nobody besides the TDS crowd cared about it, great to be proven right by a left-wing network! It was a demonstration that got out of hand, nothing more.

So, if our system is so bad, why would they come here to get training? Kind of like saying Toyota sends quality control engineers to JLR then they come back. They come here because we have better care. For those of you in Rio Linda, better is usually not cheaper.

As usual, the liberal cannot make their point so starts calling names. SOOPOO, you have beaten him in the argument.

... I have met Canadians who said they would be dead if they could not have come to the USA for care.

Killing patients to save money.

'Medically assisted deaths could save millions in health care spending: Across Canada, journal calculates up to $136.8 M in savings'

'Assisted dying now accounts for one in 20 Canada deaths'

'Paralympian claims Canada offered to euthanise her when she asked for a stairlift'

Canadian doctor offered his patient assisted suicide after telling her she had months to live. She went to Baltimore for surgery and is currently selling real estate three years later.

'Canadian Cancer Patient Euthanized Because He Couldn’t Obtain Chemotherapy'

'Went for a mastectomy and they offered me assisted dying, Canadian cancer patient reveals'

The median wait time to see a specialist in Canada is 15 weeks. 26 days in the US.

You must hate freedom of choice for euthanasia. So, you hate freedom?

MSNBC much?

No need to change. Just a lot more choices.

Republicans are not trying to convince veterans to use private healthcare over the VA program. They are pushing a new measure that will expand veterans access to private healthcare.

More choices: 'House Republicans set the stage for expanding private care for veterans'

Healthcare for veterans was poor before Trump signed the VA Mission Act in 2018.

'307,000 veterans may have died awaiting Veterans Affairs health care, report says' -CNN

Fixing the VA medical program was one of his campaign promises in 2015.

"the VA MISSION Act was the result of a bipartisan and bicameral" support

That was about enrollment, not actual care given. And this report is 9 years old

I just posted a poll from 2023 that they are more happy with their care than the private sector. NO one is against fixing anything but Republcans are trying to push privatizsation not doing something more productive.
