Come on. He is saying if he has the congressional votes he’ll be able to get legislation passed to put us in debt another $1.5 trillion. He is saying without the votes he won’t be able to. Politicians are ALWAYS buying votes. You don’t remember Obamacare?

I was happy to see trump at this convention, because it was held by the GOP and attended by GOP members and representatives. Since everything he touches turns to shit, let him put himself 'on the ticket'. Let him remind his party voters of all the great things he's done with their help: Wars, inflation, corruption, and making your country a laughing stock and pariah on the world stage (except russia)

I have been pretty off the grid with politics recently, but I just saw, Trump is offering 5k for all Americans, but only if GOP retains control of Congress after midterms. He says he has the money and support to pass it today (is that actually true?,) but is holding it as a reward for keeping power?

Like what? And, why do Americans need 5k payouts? We may have the most financially illiterate President in history...

$1.3 Trillion. Way way more than he got from tariffs ( and is having to pay back). It would just get added to the $40Trillion National debt, which is owed by the tax payers.
