I hate when a news item is a serious critique and they throw something in as if it's supposed be alarming, The guy is a urologist, and he had a catchy name for info (the erection connection). He's MAGA public health official. He has issues, but not that name.

“On May 19, DOJ posted a separate one-page document on its website – signed by acting Attorney General Todd Blanche – with the new details. It includes what appears to be an all-inclusive release in which the Internal Revenue Service is “FOREVER BARRED and PRECLUDED” from “prosecuting or pursuing” any and all efforts to determine if Trump and the other parties are liable for non- or under-payment of taxes, interest, attorney’s fees or expenses incurred by the government.”

Massie voted 99% with Trump and Trump motivated the Republicans to spend 33 million to defeat him.

As Spock might say, "Fascinating."

If that doesn't tell you how Trump is all about his own grievances and Republicans are stupid enough to go along with it spending all that money... geez.

Rep. Thomas Massie, R-Ky., is perhaps the most visible Republican dissenter in the House. His willingness to break with the party on high-profile issues like government spending, transparency and accountability has garnered him national recognition.

Most recently, the political maverick spearheaded efforts to pass the Epstein Files Transparency Act — a bill that compelled the Department of Justice (DOJ) to release all its documentation on disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein, who died in 2019 while incarcerated.

He has voted against a majority of Republicans on 73 occasions or 22.3% of the time in the 119th Congress and was just one of two Republicans to oppose the final passage of Trump’s One Big Beautiful Bill Act.

HERE is my source. What is your source? Please provide a link.

Note: My source did not specifically identify % "voting with President Trump", but I am assuming (yes I know) that when a "majority of Republicans" vote for an issue they are voting "with Trump".

Your Fox source doesn't tell me the breakdown on repeat votes for the same thing.

For instance, "Congress has held nine formal roll-call votes on war powers resolutions " When people vote the same on repeat measure that skews the record.

So a congressman who votes the same, can end up voting 9 times against his own party. But it only being about one issue is bogus, IMO.

Btw that should have been 90%. Sorry I got it from a quote on one of the CSPAN channels earlier today, so don't even know how to find it.

Since I can't seem to rustle up a better breakdown, not gonna bother.

Who knows why you're happy that your party wasted 33 million to get almost the same votes they would have gotten anyway,

Trump should hope he doesn't need Massie's vote up until the midterms. He may take the opportunity to screw over Trump if the opportunity presents itself.

In fact

The Senate has advanced a bill to block trump's war in Iran. Republicans have blocked multiple war powers resolutions, but this time Bill Cassidy, fresh off his primary election loss, flipped and voted FOR it.

To tell the truth though, I think there probably number of Republicans looking for scapegoats to put the kibosh on Trump's war. Or they think "Trump has to shit or get off the pot." IOW, Either f... over Iran or don't keep this running into our midterms.

But they won't cross him on their own.

Money well spent. At least they got something for their money unlike the democRATS in Virginia who reportedly spent $60 -$70 million to lose their gerrymandering effort.

The GOP has opportunity to get rid of Donny in 2021 with the impeachment and in 2024 with the primary. They didn't. So now the dark forces are hunting the moderate GOP to extinction. Hope the moderate GOPers like the feeling and are proud of themselves. They sacrificed their character and conscience for partial capitulation...and still lost.
