How about this? Louisiana USED to be a bastion of racism, but recently has been reversing that trend. In fact, at present, two of its six Congressmen are BLACK. That DIRECTLY proportional to Louisiana’s present racial makeup. If you are a white Democrat you probably voted for those two Congressman. If you are a Black Republican you probably didn’t. But as lefty libertards you MUST make everything about race. MUST. |

So because this current year (and this likely will change at the next election cycle, maybe even this fall,) there is a proper proportion of people represented, it is unfair to point out historical facts? 2 of the black men in power, are in power this current cycle. That means all of the rest of LA history, there have only been 2 black men. I personally, do not think racial demographics matter that much. But, when 33% of the population has only one 4 seats in 150 years and 140 public elections (4/140ish depending on how you break it down,) this shows there are forces stopping black people from running. And, when you look at some of the things that happened to black men who ran (and even won,) in the 1800s, you cannot say there were never systemic problems. Much of it was gerrymandering, much of it was systemic racism, some of it was straight up threats from terrorists groups (white nationalists types,) it is silly to deny this history. I do not talk much about race at all, let alone make "everything" about race. I actually would not have commented on this issue at all if you did not cite my name, but now I am obligated to fight until the last. Believe it or not, local racial history in rural LA is not the top of mind for Gandler right now, unless you force me into the issue. |

I hope that this is not something you just recently realized. I have understood this for a long time. That is why I generally avoid replying to their posts. P.S. The most racist people that I have encountered, both professionaly and personally, have been blacks and asians. |

Oregon once had a law that prohibited black people from moving to Oregon. Today there are very few blacks in Oregon, mostly of course in Portland, and yet Portland is perhaps the most liberal, progressive city in the USA. Go figure. |

Ok turtledick. I will make this easy for you. Give me ONE example, just ONE, where he (John Roberts) prevented anyone from voting. |

So a black Republican is okay if the white voters want it, but a white democrat the blac voters want isn't? |
