I forgot how many different women accused Clinton of sexual assault! I really just remember most the Lewinsky saga.

I have really disliked Swallwell for a long time. But on this case I don’t think there is enough evidence to kick him out of congress YET. No one has testified under oath. He hadn’t had an opportunity to cross examine any witnesses. He hadn’t had a chance to present his side of the story.

I certainly think that even if not enough evidence for a criminal conviction, there is enough evidence for him to not be STUPID enough to continue a gubernatorial campaign!

I believe that it is just the democRATS that wanted to get Swallwell to drop out of the governor's race. The democRATS were worried that his staying in the race will split the vote so much that only 2 republicans will advance through the primary and be on the ballot for governor of Commiefornia this fall.

I have little doubt that many many democRATS already knew what type of scumbag he is, they were just waiting for the appropriate time to reveal the information.

My post was about evicting him from Congress. I think the Dems who want Swallwell out really plain detest him. And are not doing it for the political reason you mention. And don’t let yourself get too excited. There will still be a Democrat as governor following Newsom. We just don’t know which one yet.

I remember that apology. He said to a reporter once…. “I’m sorry you are that stupid”……

So, the troll deleted his truth social post depicting him as a divine healer.... or whatever!

Trump said that “only the fake news” could come up with the idea that it depicted him as Jesus.

He actually took credit for posting it! Not a lacky. It's all insanely badly judged even as a joke or as trolling.

Now claiming he thought it was portraying him as a Doctor: "Something to do with the Red Cross". That's laughable and does nothing to appease his Christian voters. Are they going to accept that as a honest misunderstanding?

He really must not give a fcuk about what his supporters think. But then why should he? It's not as if he'll be standing in any future elections. He has no personal need to appeal to any voters. His inhibitions are probably dying along with his frontal lobe, so the post makes perfect sense.

What doesn't make any sense is why his GOP reps and handlers happily watch him screw up their future chances.

Why delete the post? A reaction to it landing badly with his own supporters?

That's the thing about Congress. Each house gets to decide who gets to take office, who stays and who goes, and there is very little anyone can do about it. If they want to boot Swallwell, Gonzalez or anyone else all they have to do is call for an expulsion vote. No hearings, no trial, no witnesses or cross-examination. A vote and that's that. But, I get it. Not even the Ethics Committee has investigated Swallwell yet. Least they can do is some fact finding first.

As for Clinton, we have Juanita Broderick, Paula Jones and Lewinsky. Bill denied the allegations over Broderick and Jones (but paid Jones a settlement). Monica was consensual, but there certainly was an asymmetric balance of power.

With the election and reelection of Donny, the election and reelection of Clinton, maybe Americans don't care about sex scandals? MAGA sure doesn't.

Insanity, and Trump is saying he thought it was an image of him portraying a doctor. My goodness. And, is bashing the (American and conservative) Pope because the Pope is simply speaking against the illegal war.

Like if this was Obama, the right wing talking heads would be going nonstop about him being anti-Christian, a Catholic bigot, etc... And, yet this is all defended somehow... The double standards are breathtaking.
