As far as is known, neither Donny, Fox News Pete or War Criminal Admiral have produced any evidence the targeted boats were carrying drugs or contraband. So yeah, if not agreeing with bowing boats out of the water and then killing any survivors means "supporting cartels", so be it. Let me know net time you're traveling outside of the jurisdiction of the US and you agree to be targeted for killing by a foreign nation, or even the US.

Again, I have to ask the obvious: given the large US military presence in the area why not do the usual monitoring and interdiction as opposed to blowing them out of the water?

Use our assets to detect suspicious boats then dispatch craft to physically examine and if warranted stop and inspect them: if drugs are found arrest them.
