Did you read the article you posted? It states that google censored independently of the Biden administration.

Did you actually read the letter from google in the article?? The letter was weaselly written by a lawyer. They were purposely evasive and did not definitively admit to, nor deny censoring information due to pressure from the bidumb administration.

You should read paragraph 26 of the letter.

I have little doubt that if they did not censor due to government pressure that they would have unequivocally stated so.

I believe some people would get fired for clauses in a contract, but otherwise…

These employees either have an employment contract, or are working under union based collectively bargained rules. It’s NOT a free speech issue. The employer is NOT preventing them from posting whatever they want. The employer is just terminating their employment. If there is something in their contract that prevents the employer from terminating their employment, then they should prevail in court.

Reminds me of a colleague that got canned. He posted something very negative about the CEO of the hospital. His contract allowed for termination upon 3 months notice. They gave him 3 months, told him not to come in, but still paid him for those 3 months. He never was given any official reason for his termination, but it was clear all. I laughingly thought that on the day I planned to retire I’d make a similar post, hoping to be fired but get 3 free months of salary….
