More than 100 of Donald Trump’s inaccurate statements are to be dissected by Channel 4 to coincide with his state visit, in what it described as “the longest uninterrupted reel of untruths, falsehoods and distortions ever broadcast on television”.

The US president is expected to arrive in the UK on Tuesday night. He will enjoy a huge amount of special treatment as ministers attempt to preserve the special relationship, including a ceremonial welcome at Windsor Castle for Trump and his wife, Melania.

However, Channel 4 is dedicating its Wednesday night schedule to unpicking what it describes as the falsehoods expressed by Trump since taking office in a broadcast that insiders said would last several hours.

Trump v The Truth, starting at 10pm, is expected to cover everything from the president’s false boast that his administration had “stopped $50m being sent to Gaza to buy condoms for Hamas”, to his debunked claim to have sent Ukraine more than $300bn (£220bn) in wartime aid.
"Trumpsplain (def.) explaining absolute nonsense said by TRUMP.

I assume "channel 4" is in Great Britain: I'd love to watch it if available online or on American cable / TV.

Of course those who NEED to get proof of his lies will ignore it and blow it all off as "Fake News."

They have a website with real time streaming. Maybe there?

Trump deploys National Guard to Memphis, calling it a ‘replica’ of his crackdown on Washington

Quote:
Trump said that, in addition to troops, the push in Memphis would involve officials from various federal agencies, including the FBI, Drug Enforcement Administration, Immigration and Customs Enforcement and the U.S. Marshall’s service: “We’re sending in the big force now.”

Oh well, time for the loser lefty libtards to find another talking point.

We hear a lot about Washington and Chigaco. But Memphis is actually the most dangerous City in the U.S. by a wide margin (and it almost never gets talked about.)

I still don't think the President should activate the NG for domestic issues without Governor approval. But, if the TN governor agreed to this, I have no issues.

A Red State, no less.

Which is not surprising, Red States are more dangerous than Blue States.

Not quite right, only the blue cities in red states.

As I previously posted the fix is in:

Appeals court says Lisa Cook can stay on the Federal Reserve board — for now

Quote:
A federal appeals court has temporarily blocked President Trump from firing a member of the Federal Reserve's governing board, just ahead of a key vote on interest rates. The White House quickly said it would appeal the case to the U.S. Supreme Court.

On a two-to-one vote Monday, the divided appeals court upheld an earlier decision from a district judge who found that firing Lisa Cook would likely violate the Federal Reserve Act, which includes provisions designed to insulate the central bank from political pressure from the White House.
emphasis above mine

Before I even read the following I knew the answer:

Quote:
The decision was authored by Judge Bradley Garcia, who was appointed to the appeals court by President Joe Biden, and joined by another Biden appointee, Michelle Childs. A third judge, Gregory Katsas — who was appointed by Trump — dissented, saying he would have allowed the firing to proceed.

States control criminal law, gun regulation, and traffic regulation (basically everything that leads to deaths.) This is why State breakdowns are all that matter. A small city can't just make some sweeping reform on criminal justice and regulation...

So yes, looking at States are what is critical. And, Red States are more dangerous.
