SCOTUS can overturn previous rulings. Rare, but it happens. If you do not believe Roe could be overturned because it was "settled law" then you believe we should still have segregation since Plessy was "settled law." I thought you went to law school? I see no reason for the USSC to have changed it other than umbrage / dislike of the decision in Roe. Politics, pure and simple...i.e. "lawfare." |
