He's not only promising tariffs, but he's promising to deport half or more of the cheap labor force. "Trumpsplain (def.) explaining absolute nonsense said by TRUMP. |

So you have to actually pay for legal labor? War is peace. Freedom is slavery. Ignorance is strength |

You're the guys that think it makes economic sense to deport them and don't want to give them any path to citizenship. I doubt if the small decrease in amount of crime, will offset the labor loss. Americans don't want their jobs; that's why they have them. "Trumpsplain (def.) explaining absolute nonsense said by TRUMP. |

Be that the economy or foreign policy, or even deportation. The country can and always will survive the odd cock-up, but the doubling down is what will get you. He'll hire the wrong people who will be his instruments of destruction. It will never be his fault, when inflation, recession, depression, unemployment go to hell. But The GOP and he own this. They have all the levers and all the responsibility. I'm waiting till he or some of his crazies decide that the US needs to be governed more like Russia. Or have they already? And now that he AND BIDEN have established that the president is above the law, then there might as well be no law. |

Alternative sources. Lower demand. Increased domestic production. Foreign producers lowering price to be more competitive. Trump increased tariffs on Steel and Aluminum for most nations in March 2018. The cost for Hot Roll Steel in March 2018 was $870/ton. By March 2019, the price fell 31% to $598/ton. Aluminum was $2,108/ton in March 2018. By March 2019, the price fell 15% to $1,794/ton. No need for a “path to citizenship.” We could make a guest worker program. Work then go home. Just have to change the constitution to require one parent be a citizen for birth citizenship to remove the anchor baby problem. War is peace. Freedom is slavery. Ignorance is strength |

Adding Blindness to the list of TDS symptoms. Biden's FBI raided the homes of 35 of Trump' allies. They raided the home of a conservative journalist, searching in vain for Ashley Biden's diary, which she abandoned. Too late. We already knew she took showers with her dad. They raided the home and office of NYC Dem. Mayor Adams and his associates and Commissioners after Adams criticized Biden's immigration policies. They raided the home of a Texas Dem. Congressman who is a vocal critic of Biden. One week after the election, they raided the home of the election betting website Polymarket CEO, who previously gained widespread attention for the way Polymarket placed Trump's odds high above those of Harris, when opinion polls had for months shown the race in a dead heat. |

Not worried about Trump's policies. Over Trump's first three years in office, Mandatory spending increased from $2.5 trillion in 2017 to $2.7 trillion in 2019. Discretionary spending increased from $1.2 trillion in 2017 to $1.3 trillion in 2019. Only 8% higher than at the start of his term. Compensating for inflation. During the year of the pandemic 2020, it was $1.6 trillion. During Biden's first year in office, Mandatory spending increased 167% to $7.2 trillion. $4.1 trillion in 2022 and $3.8 trillion in 2023. Tariffs don't raise much revenue. Any Trump tariffs will be installed to protect our borders, people, workers, industry and farmers. Not to raise government revenues.
Congress holds the power of the purse. Not the President. He can request cuts or increases in spending, but nothing can be done without Congressional approval. Musk and Ramaswamy can request all the cuts they want, but they can't cut a dime without Congressional approval. |

He's only 18, yet he's already 20 years more mature than scumbag Hunter Biden. And I GUARANTEE that Trump will never have to pardon Barron for any slimy ass crimes. 😒 |
