Donny gave some of his salary to charity. He gave some to certain Federal departments, for use in certain programs, like COVID relief or the VA. He didn't donate it back into the General Fund.

The standard should never be if a Presidential candidate is wealthy enough to donate his/her salary while in office. That would mean only the wealthy should be President.

It does not matter if he donated it to the general fund or directed it. He donated it. Meanwhile the Clinton’s and obamas used the presidency to make millions. Yet you love them but hate the self made man who is Trump. Maybe you just hate self made men?

You keep coming at me thinking I think Trump has all the answers. That he is somehow ‘good’. I consistently state he is bad, just the real results of his policies less bad than the Democrats. I have just seen a SLEW of commercials from Harris saying she will lower taxes on ‘the middle class’. But of course no mention of which programs she’ll be ending. I guess she’ll want Musk to pay as much as 1,000,000 regular taxpayers like terapined. Sure I make assumptions. I’ll be happy for you to get more exact numbers, but my points are still valid.

I can’t get in Putin’s head. It certainly IS reasonable that he would be afraid of a loose cannon like Trump more than a more sane guy like Biden. You always ask to prove the unprovable. I can’t prove that Russia wants a Dem. You can’t prove that they want Trump.
The only concrete thing we found out was that Iran was out to get Trump. That they wanted a Dem. After all, it was a Dem to flew plane loads of cash to them. Do you think for a second that would have happened under Trump’s watch.

A little about me. During my working career I made good $$. Probably paid enough for 10-20 ‘regular’ workers in taxes. I didn’t complain. I understand our country is based on the well to do supporting the masses. I just hate the bullshit phrase ‘fair share’. You would vote for Robinhood for President.

You guys just can’t remember how good the economy was doing under Trump the day before the pandemic. Had there not been a pandemic Trump would have EASILY won re-election.

I'm saying it doesn't matter to me whether a President donates his salary or not. It does not factor into my evaluation of him at all.

I dislike Donny, but not because he's (supposedly) self-made.
