Not really. Cities are free to make their own laws. But even if not, why are the Democrat run cities so much higher crime if the laws are the same all over the state? Rudy's record on cleaning up NYC cannot be disputed. Crime went way down under him. Current administrations are letting this all go.

I have put up. If the lack of laws is such a problem, why is it the blue cities have the violence but it is nowhere else?

What you do not grasp is criminals do not care if there is a law against guns. Said laws only hurt the citizen who wants to protect themselves. Chicago is the perfect example, strong gun laws but still high gun crime.

There is no such thing as a red city. All cities are blue. What matters is state law. Blue cities in red states are dangerous, blue states in blue states are less dangerous, this not even debatable. Cities in states with strong gun laws are safer.

It is very debatable. Chicago, NYC, LA. All have violence problems. Other municipalities in said red states are not the violence centers that the blue cities are. The problem is blue cities cannot manage their crime.
