The only source of the accusations against Khelif is Umar Kremlev who has no credibility with the IOC or the international boxing world. He took over the IBA on behalf of Russian mobsters and Putin cronies. Khelif boxed without issue for five years until she spoiled the perfect record of a Russian boxer. Then she was abruptly banned by Kremlev with no test details offered. There is no credible evidence that she has XY chromosomes.

She step backs, falls down and quits claiming an ankle injury. Bear in mind she was never hit in this sequence. Just steps back, falls, claims ankle injury and quits the fight.

I am willing to entertain the possibility she has XY, but with a disorder of sex development, like Castor Semenya, Christine Mboma, Beatrice Masilingi, Francine Niyonsaba or Margaret Wambui. He chromosomes alone should not determine whether she qualifies as "female" or not.

Gender is not as simple as what chromosomes one has.

What about "true" hermaphrodites, do they get to pick and choose?
