China update

Will Chinese exports be dropping by close to 50% next year? What will happen to the Yuan over the next year? At my age a Life In Prison sentence is not much of a deterrent. |

I agree Looks to me Xi is solidly in charge There is massive corruption in China, especially the military Xi just sacked 2 defense ministers That's power Sometimes we live no particular way but our own - Grateful Dead "Eyes of the World" |

Xi as removed practically everyone with any competence in governing or running a cabinet or government department. He considers them threats to his power. |

If it happens it will have to be led by military. Also, don't be surprised if Xi takes back Manchuria from the Russians. At my age a Life In Prison sentence is not much of a deterrent. |

Sorry, just a lot happening in China and very few people talk about it. Their demographics are so bad their population will probably shrink by 50% in the next 20 years. At my age a Life In Prison sentence is not much of a deterrent. |

'Younger Chinese fume at call to raise retirement age' "Chinese retirement ages are low by advanced economy standards: 50 years for female blue-collar workers, 55 for female white-collar employees, and 60 for all males." Beijing subway. Or possibly #7 train in Flushing, Queens. Hard to tell.  |
