Another moron has joined the dump the Speaker gang. It seems that he may be done.

The Republicans seem dead set on steamrolling their chances of maintaining the House majority as it keeps thinning from attrition and the election moves closer.

I don't like everything he has done either, but it is hard to do anything without doing it in a bipartisan way since the Dems do hold the Senate and Presidency.

These fools are acting like they have power to do anything but make it a bigger mess. They want him to pre-resign so that they can elect a new Speaker with Jefferies really having a shot at getting the gig,

Do they really think they can elect someone? They've chewed through a lot of folks.

You can probably thank gerrymandering.

Gerrymandering increases extremist power in both parties. That's the theory anyway. I guess if you're an extremist it's a fine practice,
You believe in an invisible god, and dismiss people who say they are trans? Really?

Credit where it is due: Johnson showed a bit of backbone yesterday (which likely means his days are numbered in today’s GOP).

Johnson also wisely included the forced sale of TikTok in the bill. Schumer stalled the sale in the Senate. Now he will be forced to bring it up for a vote.

A TikTok ban is irrelevent. Nothing-absolutely nothing-prevents any other social media company from doing the same things that TikTok is accused of doing now. What Congress shoudl have done is pass a comprehensive data privacy law.

They will never pass a data privacy law. Data collection is how companies like Google, Microsoft, Amazon and Facebook make billions.

For Congress to pass that TikTok ban with a lopsided vote of 352 to 65, they must know more than they can reveal about the app.

Possibly concerned about TikTok using the algorithm to influence public opinion with it’s ‘For You’ page.

TikTok claims it isn’t promoting pro-Palestinian sentiment, but there were twice as many StandWithPalestinian videos (14,000) than StandWithIsrael videos (6,000) posted with the first thirty days after the war began.

When a Bizarro World creature named Lynette Adkins posted Osama Bin Laden’s ‘Letter To America’, telling viewers to read it, the video went viral, getting hundreds of thousands of views and 100,000 likes..

'TikTok star who makes living off Chinese-owned app reveals why US must force sale: ‘I am terrified of what I’m seeing’

"TikTok’s algorithm has the potential to create Echo Chambers, a phenomenon where users are exposed primarily to content that aligns with their existing beliefs, preferences and associated hashtags. This filtering effect can limit exposure to diverse viewpoints and result in a biased, one-sided narrative."

Everything you mentioned-everything-can be generalizable to each and every social media service. Tiktok is nothing special in this regard.
