How would you feel if you came home and your house was blown up as collateral damage killing a terrorist.

Hard to believe anyone here would just say, I guess it was necessary.

I don't really understand people who say, the hell with targeted strikes, don't worry so much if you're careful.

(not to mention killing or injuring family members)

I fully agree, I would be at the Hezbollah recruiter the next morning, even if I hated them locally, but an outside force destroying my family would make me gravitate towards local powers instantly.

I think anyone who denies this, is not living in reality. Violence from the outside breeds unity inside.

Easy! I’d feel like I should have done something to prevent terrorists from launching attacks from my neighborhood! Funny, the neighborhoods that don’t harbor terrorists are still intact.

But agree with Gandlers post. Each leveled neighborhood with resultant ‘collateral’ deaths results in some multiple of new terrorists. The school bombing in Tehran likely resulted in 10,000+ Iranians that might have been ambivalent to want to kill every American they possibly could.

If it was that easy, gang violence wouldn't ever be a problem in any neighborhood in the US. Don't even need the police.

I didn’t say it’s easy. The Iranian people uprising against their repressive government will require a lot of spilt blood. Same for Lebanon ousting Hezbollah. And Gaza with Hamas.

It can be done. But until it is, expect Israel to do what is necessary to keep its borders secure. And the world to whine about ‘proportionality’.

Reading comprehension problem again. I said it was ‘easy’ to answer. I never would mean it’s ‘easy’ to oust blood thirsty evil terrorists from your midst. But the consequences are…. getting your neighborhood blown up….

But anyway, if you have a rocket launcher aimed at another country next door, you really think it’s unreasonable that next door gets bombed?

Maybe you need to do a better job or making your meanings clearer.

Or you just need to be smarter?

Bottom line. You aid and abet those bombing Israel, delay doing your home improvements.

What does my home improvement schedule have to do with any thing? You argue best when you argue my point.

More bottom line. You have shown yourself to be a xenophobic, White Christian Nationalist racist through and through, Scott.

That might be a good answer if someone actually could believe they shoot rockets from their own house.
