How would you feel if you came home and your house was blown up as collateral damage killing a terrorist.

Hard to believe anyone here would just say, I guess it was necessary.

I don't really understand people who say, the hell with targeted strikes, don't worry so much if you're careful.

(not to mention killing or injuring family members)

I fully agree, I would be at the Hezbollah recruiter the next morning, even if I hated them locally, but an outside force destroying my family would make me gravitate towards local powers instantly.

I think anyone who denies this, is not living in reality. Violence from the outside breeds unity inside.

Easy! I’d feel like I should have done something to prevent terrorists from launching attacks from my neighborhood! Funny, the neighborhoods that don’t harbor terrorists are still intact.

But agree with Gandlers post. Each leveled neighborhood with resultant ‘collateral’ deaths results in some multiple of new terrorists. The school bombing in Tehran likely resulted in 10,000+ Iranians that might have been ambivalent to want to kill every American they possibly could.

If it was that easy, gang violence wouldn't ever be a problem in any neighborhood in the US. Don't even need the police.
