Urushiol is found in every part of the plant, and it can even remain active on dead and dried plants for two to five years. Unwashed clothing, shoes, and other contaminated items can cause reactions for one year or longer. The only way to get rid of the urushiol is with a thorough washing using detergent and water.

Think anyone ever ran branches of poison ivy leaves through their ex-spouses closet full of clothes in a messy divorce before leaving?

learning about this as aged cheese has almost no lactose

is aged cheddar sharp cheddar cheese?

The longer cheese is aged naturally, the sharper and more pronounced the cheddar flavor becomes. Mild Cheddar cheese is generally aged for 2 to 3 months, whereas an extra sharp might be aged for as long as a year
__

What is the difference between Swiss cheese and aged Swiss cheese?
Just like a fine wine, Swiss cheese gets stronger with age. Aged Swiss is kept in a cool environment for an extended period of time, allowing the flavor to develop further. This allows the cheese to have a deeper yellow color and a sharper flavor than the original Swiss.

I tried to make wine in a coke bottle when I was a teen. It didn’t work out so well.

Quote:
Experts vary on precise numbers, but typically state that only 5–10% of wine improves after 1 year, and only 1% improves after 5–10 years. In general, wines with a low pH (such as pinot noir and Sangiovese) have a greater capability of aging.

The body already knows the fastest way naturally.

So do nothing.

If we interfere with that mechanism, then the body will adapt to the interference.

I think I knew this at one time, but needed a refresher

what is whip in baseball?

Walks And Hits Per Inning Pitched (WHIP) | The formula is simple enough -- it's the sum of a pitcher's walks and hits, divided by his total innings pitched

__

Is a 1.5 WHIP good in baseball?

In the Major Leagues, the average WHIP is around 1.30. Most middle-of-the-rotation pitchers will throw around this mark. Pitchers with a WHIP above 1.50 are generally thought of as poor and could be heading back to Minor League Baseball or the bench.

Barry Bonds had the most intentional walks by far.

So a pitcher on his team could generally have a better WHIP average albeit small.

maybe it's a small factor?

people also ask, again,

>>>

Do you [sic] intentional walks count against a pitcher's WHIP in baseball?

Yes. Intentional walks are counted as a walk given up by the pitcher and are therefore counted in a pitcher's WHIP.

Lincoln Electric was in a news' story about not having a layoff in 70 years, so I asked Bing Chat ai to tell me about its success.

Quote:
Lincoln Electric is a company that was founded in Cleveland in 1895 with $200, an invention, and a dream. John C. Lincoln wanted to manufacture his innovative electric motor and build a company where people worked by the golden rule. One hundred and twenty-six years later, Lincoln is still headquartered in Euclid, Ohio, but it’s now the world’s largest welding company — a $2.7 billion multinational corporation, operating in 18 countries with almost 11,000 employees1.

The company’s culture is still centered around the same thing: “The golden rule — treating others as you want to be treated — it is really simple. And that code of ethics is what is at the heart of successful organizations,” says Chris Mapes, Chairman, President & CEO of Lincoln Electric1.

Lincoln Electric has not laid off a single employee in Northeast Ohio since the late 1940s. It invests heavily in training and paying for performance. In fact, Lincoln’s incentive management system is so unique that several business cases have been written about it by the Harvard Business School1.

Lincoln Electric is known for having exceptionally loyal employees — many who stay with the company their entire careers. But that doesn’t mean it’s immune to the shortage of skilled workers affecting the manufacturing industry. The company is actively involved in raising awareness of great manufacturing careers, sponsoring tuition for employees, and getting involved in innovative recruiting and training programs1.

I applaud that because it rejects ideas like the ceo only needs to worry about making money. And it provides incentives for employees to work there rather than just cogs in a machine.
