Is it a failure of the trump administration to undermine the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics and get them to publish dishonestly calculated low inflation?? Or did they succeed and cover up the much higher true numbers? I thought trump got the fix in last August https://hgbr.org/bls-commissioner-dismissed-data-independence-questioned/ Did he miss a trick? Pretty funny that in Dec 2025 the Whitehouse gave a press release saying... "Trump Delivers: Core Inflation Hits Lowest Level in Nearly Five Years" https://www.whitehouse.gov/releases/2025/12/trump-delivers-core-inflation-hits-lowest-level-in-nearly-five-years/ Absurdly, trump could slash inflation quite quickly and easily: Slash his own contribution to inflation. Slash his tariffs, which are distilled inflation wholly of his making. |

So simple minded. Let’s say the tariffs are $100 billion. So you’d say companies raised prices $100 billion to add to inflation. If we cut them, where does our government get that $100 billion we are now short? I’ve heard Dims say ‘raise corporate taxes’! As if they won’t raise prices if that happens…. Same result!!!! Dumbo Trump is suspending Federal Gas tax. I think you should only be allowed to do that if you do one of two things, or a combination…. Show me a different tax you are increasing to make up for it. Or show me a spending cut in line with the revenue drop. |

Donny promised lower inflation and lower gas prices. So far, he hasn't delivered on either. As for the hypothetical $100 billion. That was $100 billion is USSC ruled was collected illegally. It isn't my job to come up with $100b in replacement revenue. It's Donny's job to not collect $100b in revenue illegally in the first place. |

I hope they reduce domestic aid programs in every red district. Every single one. |

Certainly not in the fat oaf's administration: look at how competely STUPID this clown is...bwa ha ha ha https://www.msn.com/en-us/weather/topstories/trump-official-mocked-after-claiming-solar-doesn-t-work-at-night/ar-AA237768?ocid=msedgdhp&pc=U531&cvid=6a04ddd0aa5e407dac216efe43d16712&ei=44 per the article: "Interior Secretary Doug Burgum seemed unaware that solar energy could be stored in batteries to provide power at night. During a House Natural Resources Committee hearing on Wednesday, Burgum complained about claims that solar power was the "cheapest form of energy." "All of these projects are describing in Nevada have one thing in common," Burgum said. "When the sun goes down, they produce zero electricity. And this nation over-rotated towards intermittent forms of energy. And the idea that we could add intermittent and shut down baseload is what put our grid at deep risk." "You may have an incremental source, but it doesn't work," he continued. "The whole machine doesn't work when the sun goes down. And there's examples from around the world of this happening." ____________________________________ One might think he'd have known how solar power works, having gotten an MBA from Stanford but hey, drinking Trump Kool-Aid obviously rotted his brain. |

This seems to be a hit piece of the worst kind, suggesting something reasonable is instead nuts while relying on the ignorance of the average person. "Interior Secretary Doug Burgum seemed unaware that solar energy could be stored in batteries to provide power at night." I imagine what he was aware of is that people do that battery storage on their small scale stuff, but power companies do not ... not in any scale... and in the context of solar makng significant contribution to the nation's needs, that the sun only shines sometimes is a problem. emphasis googlebot.
