And we all know what happens to battery on a cop in our cities now. You become a hero. Don't pretend that the punishments that were handed out to the protestors were what happens to everyone and are impartial. That is the problem. If all the rioters and law enforcement attacks were treated the same way as Jan 6 was I would be fine with it. But we all know that they weren't and the only difference is which political party is in control. Political discrimination pure and simple. My insurrection is your protest and vice-versa.

As most here know I don't give a crap about politics. I just go with whatever is passed and live my life even if I don't agree with it. I don't care if abortions are banned (even though I have been involved in many), I don't care who feeds the homeless, I don't care about gay rights. I am just selfish and live my life the best I can according to the rules. I can't think of a single political issue that I have ever cared enough about to get worked up about it.

Many of them blabbed their intent before, after and during. That matters. I can break a window to steal a pie or I can break the same window and reveal that I'm going in to kill the occupant.

This is partly true, but not in the way you mistakenly think.

If the Jan. 6th insurrectionists were democrats (or, dare I say, “ANTIFA”) and not a bunch of idiot rednecks, they would have been massacred by law enforcement before even breaking onto the Capitol grounds.

That's because to a normal person it's not a hazard. Nobody else tripped over it did they. I've heard his staff has to lead him around the White House like he'sa blind person because he's constantly tripping because he's old and frail and that's what happens. After my father-in-law turned 90 he fell down constantly but he never got hurt because it was always inside. When he was outside he used a walker. That's what Joe Biden needs a walker but that would look even more pathetic.
