What do you want him to do about it? No doubt he is against Hamas No doubt he views all lives as sacred. This is a very complicated subject But More Palestinian lives have been lost then Israeli lives lost. That is on Hamas as well. They chose to put their weapons and soldiers in the middle of the population and hospitals. The Hamas also only exist to kill all Jews. Israel has tried and is willing to have a 2 state solution. Pretty hard to do when though your neighbours published position is to wipe you off the face of the earth. It has been said over and over that the Palestinians never miss an opportunity to miss an opportunity. Israel has helped them over and over. They fire rockets at Israel in return. Israel left greenhouses to grow food in Gaza when they left. The Palestinians destroyed them instead of using them. Even KSA and UAE have had enough of the Palestinians. Israel is one of the strongest allies of the USA. Yet the left is against them. The solution may be to bribe Egypt to take in all residents of Gaza, every last one, and let Israelis resettle the place. If that happened the place would be a world class seaside resort in 5 years. War is peace. Freedom is slavery. Ignorance is strength |

There can never be peace, nor a two state solution with them in close proximity. Alas, the Arabs pretty much look down their beaks at the Palestinians, considering them akin to Gypsies or even dogs. Tough situations require tough solutions, but the Palestinians started it and Israel is doing what the conservatives deem necessary to try to prevent it from happening again. Don't attack Israel unless you are certain to win; the cost of losing is severe. Man, I'm glad I'm not a Palestinian...they're screwed. |

Hamas sucks They knew Israel would go over the top in retaliation Unfortunately for Israel, the world is against a situation with these types of numbers 42k Dead in Gaza 38k Civilians 10k Women 15k Children How can you justify 15k Dead children Sure Hamas put these children in danger No doubt about that But Israel is pulling the trigger That just doesn't sit well with people, pulling that trigger We are talking about children Sometimes we live no particular way but our own - Grateful Dead "Eyes of the World" |

I want him to understand that ANY country should do EVERYTHING they could if their borders were breached, over a thousand murdered, and hundreds were taken hostage. If ALL the remaining hostages were freed, and the Hamas terrorists turned over for punishment for the atrocities they committed, the killing of ‘innocent civilians’ ends. I’ll ask you, Ed…. what should Israel have done in response to the slaughter of their men, women, and children? And the CONTINUED holding of hostages? The Palestinian populace is totally complicit in the actions of THEIR ELECTED leaders, Hamas. |
