I just read it is illegal to have a ‘Ladies Night’ promotion in, where else, California! Restaurant SUCCESSFULLY sued by male patrons who were not offered 1/2 price drinks. Apparently a minor league baseball team also lost lawsuit for only giving out hats on a promotion to ‘those that identified as female’.

They wonder why people are fleeing the state….

The ladies night discount thing I have seen off and on for years. The argument is always the same. Need to get women to the bar. Only a problem when some goof sees it as a “blue tax” and makes a case out of it. Way around it is offer of he discount only in drinks self respecting guys won’t touch.

It’s just as easy to prove oppressive gender focused societies tend to oppress women even if they don’t oppress men. Women as property. Men not getting prosecuted when they commit offenses against their wives.

Even though I don't agree with oppressing women I totally understand why they do it. Many women are nuts half the time and it's a worldwide trait. Not nuts like you would lock them up, nuts like all their decisions are based on emotions and not on logic. Camille Paglia the well-known feminist has said that she believes that if women ran the world, we would still be living in huts and hunting and gathering. Because women can't get things done, they don't have it in them to be progressive and inventive. And this is a feminist saying this. So if you come from a culture where half the women are nuts half the time you're going to oppress them or you're never going to get anywhere. The men who do not understand this have never lived with a woman for very long, if ever.
