Excessive government borrowing to increase spending by more than $5 trillion, creates excessive inflation by injecting trillions into the money supply, which ultimately requires the Fed to raise interest rates in order to to slow the economy and inflation trajectory.

The competition between the government and corporations and the public, for the available pool of funds, pushes interest rates higher.

On top of that, Biden's regulations have cost American's almost $10,000 per. household. More borrowing equals higher interest rates.

Under Trump, the cost of regulations was reduced by $11,000 per household. Less borrowing, lower interest rates.

I'm sure Trumps deregulation was on track to kill all the whales, seals, polar bears, small children, indigenous people, poison the water, cause oil spills, pollute the air, raise the CO2, flood low lands, and release the Kracken. But other than that... no problem.
