Based on overturning Roe V Wade after 50 years, time and precedent means nothing to the Conservative SCOTUS.

Reminder…. pretty sure I’m the only forum member who has actually helped women who chose abortion. But all I’ve read is that the Roe ruling was always legally flawed. So now EXACTLY what should happen is happening. The people of each state are determining what the rules should be. More and more are turning for a woman’s right to an abortion. There are no borders between states. There are a plethora of organizations that will transport a woman wanting an abortion to a state that will allow it. If you live in a state that has laws you don’t like, move. Or elect representatives that will pass the laws you want.

Cool. You make a fool of yourself here daily with your lack of knowledge about literally everything. It’s sad.

One of the most interesting things through this entire ordeal, is seeing Maher's eyes opening.

It seems like each week that goes by, his eyes open wider.

I can hardly wait until a year from now to see what he says.

Here's something Bill Maher said very recently that is positive about Trump. Something he never ever ever would have done just two months ago. His about face on Trump is pretty amazing because he hated Trump's guts.

Do you think men should have to drive across state lines possibly for a thousand miles at the drop of the hat for healthcare that is time limited, and if so, why?

And no I don't mean healthcare that is so specialized, it is only limited by the few specialists because of complexity or expensive equipment, but a procedure that is intentionally limited because of the stupid laws that are trying to make it difficult for you to accomplish.

(and I'm guessing you don't hate women)
You believe in an invisible god, and dismiss people who say they are trans? Really?

When my father joined voluntarily in WWII, he was underage and they caught him.

He had to wait.

There were many similar men, if not most.

His father was in WWI.

It was based upon the love of a country.

It's taught by example.

During the Vietnam War, folks began to understand how men can deceive others resulting in unnecessary death.

That trust I inherited and was taught was lost and we never recovered as a nation.

Trump is trying to wake us up.

No. Unless that ‘healthcare’ is illegal n the state they live in. Assisted suicide? Not legal in every state. Medical marijuana? Not legal in every state. Consequences for refusing to get COVID vaxxed, not the same in every state. I’m (was!) licensed to practice medicine only in NY. We as a country have granted each state the power to regulate ‘healthcare’. I’ll say it again…. Why is abortion illegal/over-regulated/underfunded/inconvenient in some states? Because the elected officials have passed laws to do so. How were these people elected? By the voters voting for them! Do you think these officials hid their stance on abortion from the voters? I think not!

You used the term ‘stupid laws’. There are some that would say ‘allowing a woman to kill her baby’ is a stupid law! Some states agree with you. Some don’t.

I think I should emphasize that none of the things you mentioned only affect women. That's why they're not the same. I'm fine with states making laws across the usual allowed discriminatory line as long as they're not gender, race, religion, etc.

Nope not acceptable exucse for it. You want to give a as little as 6 week fetus power over a woman until she deliverers, just say so.

No, I don’t. I want abortion legal, probably later in term than most. What I want is for our governmental system to work. There are lots of laws I disagree with. There are ways for the populace to change them.

And by the way, ‘men’ can give birth in states that allow you to call yourself a man despite having a pesky uterus. Google it!

If they're allowed to give birth, they're allowed to get an abortion. Zero change for me. The whole trans argument is about whether someone should be allowed to be like a women, not women's amount of rights. At least, not yet. Until the law of all the US land rules something for or against trans people, that's the way it is.
