You are most likely correct. But if the Republicans control House, Senate, and Presidency, I guarantee you they come up with a bill that allows fewer illegals and fake asylum seekers in.

The vacant House seat (Santos’) election is today. The Democrats have the usual career politician running. The Republicans have perhaps the most unique candidate in history. Mazi Pilip.

I can’t say for sure.

I want our country to pick a number of immigrants we feel our economy/infrastructure/housing availability can handle. And prioritize them according to what we feel will best help our country. We need more oboe players? Then they get priority. Then have people who want to immigrate here apply. Then there would be a queue. Anyone who comes illegally and is caught is immediately deported. Our country does not allow zero immigration. It is the literally millions of migrants who came here illegally that is the problem. Wife’s best friend was born in Mexico 60 years ago. She and her family came here legally when she was young. She is the biggest Trumper I know. (Delusional).

Trump started to build the wall. They of course did not have a filibuster proof majority in the Senate. This time I think it will be different if the Repubs get all 3. The public has turned against the Dems on their open border, sanctuary city type policies.

Another seat lost with Trump as the candidate or President. There is a real chance that they lose the House (the gang that can't shoot straight) and fail to gain the Senate in their best chance of the last few elections. Biden does not hurt other candidates in his party as much as Trump does. At the point they lose in either body of Congress, it becomes a shit show if Trump wins.

Of course, Trump says she didn't say she supported him fast enough.

I don't put as much into this election has others because he held the seat before, is a moderate Democrat, is well-liked, and has great name recognition.

Killing babies is a winning issue for Democrats and the Republicans have not prosecuted the case against the poor border bill very well--they actually should have debated it on the floor and voted against it after the debate. Just tossing it away at least partially gave the issue away. If they indeed followed Trump on that, they are proving themselves to be inept.

At least they got the impeachment vote taken care of before the election results are certified and the winner is sworn in. That is a huge load off their plate. It was totally worth it to do that and the articles of impeachment will go down in history as the most clear case for removal from office in history.**
