Reality is, the government does this all the time, just on a smaller scale. You got a guy in a house on your street shooting people from inside his house, the police aren't going to let you into your own neighborhood until it's over. You'll have to go commit suicide somewhere else because stupidity seems to be your goal. It's based on the size and scale of the event and duration.

I haven't seen the US government drag anyone out of their own house to save them from something, but they will put restrictions on movement around the neighborhood that you don't normally have from a small town to a large area. As large as necessary. A train derailing with chemicals will be the same thing on a bigger scale.

Maybe one day, you will learn the difference, but that's doubtful.

Not really. An active shooter is an immediate threat. Walking around an active shooter is immediate danger. Not wearing a silly mask is no big deal.
