Nuland doesn't appear to be covering up anything. She freely admits Ukraine has biological research facilities our government is quite concerned, Russian forces may gain control of.

If these are simple biological research labs, why be so concerned?

No doubt the Russians have taken control of some of them by now.

It would be really irresponsible to have more than a couple labs dealing with the most dangerous biological items. In fact, I would expect only one lab in a country the size of Ukraine to be doing that. There may be 26 labs, but probably only one of those would be of great concern, and we don't even know if that is true.

Ukraine should have a lot more interest in developing better conventional weapons, that working bio weapons though their lab may involve medical research on dangerous diseases.

Yeah he has been working for Russia for years now. He can't be trusted as a source on anything, but this issue most of all.

And, historically when Japan retakes former islands lost in a prior war from a declining empire, it always goes well for world stability.
