This changed with the ascent of communism, but that imploded and now the fragments are held by Putin and his henchmen. Putin fancies himself a modern tsar: the Russian people go along with it because there's no viable political option at the moment due to oppression. A very fucked up country, to be blunt...like a thuggish brother trying to grope his sister. If he has any cajones Trump will fully arm and support Ukraine if, as expected, Putin continues to play him like a Stradivarius. |

We helped THEM in WWII, not vice versa, and we only did it to fight a common enemy. Russia has always been a European outlier, not a club member: an opportunistic weasel. They are still imperialistic, a notion which most civilized countries rejected after WWII. They are our enemy...deal with it. |

If Zelenskyy doesn't make peace this go around, Trump will have him exiled and a Ukraine election will occur. I'd go ahead and negotiate for Greenland ASAP so Russia and the USA have better flank positions. |
