Away from the political stuff for a moment. I have been without power and news for 10 days. Can someone sum up for me what has happened in Ukraine over the last 10 days or so?

The main bridge between Russia and Eastern Ukraine has also had a section blown up. This is the main supply route for Russia.

Remember many of the Ukrainians would sooner be Russians.

Putin propaganda in your news feed?????????
ROTFL
We at the point in the war where even Russians don't want to be in Russia due to Putin. Especially anybody that can possibly be drafted.

You really are living in a bubble TP. It is a well documented fact that many living in the Ukraine would still like to be Russians. Many in the Ukraine have Russian citizenship.

The quote is from WIKI but you can find 100's of sources TP.

"In the 2001 Ukrainian census, 8,334,100 identified as ethnic Russians (17.3% of the population of Ukraine);"

Do you consider Russia’s invasion legal and just?
You believe in an invisible god, and dismiss people who say they are trans? Really?

No I don't. But this is a very difficult and multifaceted problem. Is war the solution, No. Should those areas of Ukraine that want to join Russia be allowed to separate, Possibly. The details of any separation of some areas of Ukraine is a very difficult issue to resolve if the residents want it.

Would you be in favour of allowing New Mexico to join old Mexico if they voted to in a referendum? How about Texas and half of Arizona becoming an independent country? Would the illegal immigrants be allowed to vote in the referendum?

Many don't mean jack
Many Trumpers in California.
More Trumpers and conservatives in CA then any other state
But
The State will still vote Dem
Same with Ukraine, most will vote for independent Ukraine
Many may vote for Russia but it don't mean jack

Are you actually supporting Russia over Ukraine
WTF
Used to be a time conservatives supported freedom fighters.
Obviously the Trumper party does not
Sad

You are still a being a bubble boy. Do a little research. The people in Crimea consider themselves Crimean first and Ukrainian second.

"Greater autonomy
Are you for the restoration of the provision of the Constitution of the Republic of Crimea of 6 May 1992 which determines the regulation of mutual relations between the Republic of Crimea and Ukraine on the basis of a Treaty of Agreements?[3]

This is an old referendum and the further West you go in the Ukraine the larger the support for the Ukraine. But there are still areas in Eastern Ukraine with majority support for joining Russia. I can't be bothered doing the research for you because you have a very closed mind and it will just be ignored anyway.

Eastern Europe has many undercurrents because countries have always had very flexible borders in that area as wars surged back and forth. People have more loyalty to the relatively small area they live in rather than the current country that it nominally is part of.

I dispute the writer
Russia is definitely and absolutely losing because they still haven't taken Ukraine.
Their ground game absolutely sucks and still sucks.
The article is absurd and dumb.
All of the sudden Russia will dominate with "shock and awe"
WTF
Is this Russian propaganda or what.
They are in a slog and it will remain that way
Russia waiting to now to dominate the war is a complete and utter fantasy. If they could have dominated Ukraine, they would have done it at the beginning.
"Shock and awe" sounds like something from Bahgdad Bob when he said Iraq would dominate the US
Did Bahgdad Bob change his name to Pepe Escobar :-)

Posting a source from TheSaker on this issue is absurd (any issue for that matter, but especially this issue, its Kremlin backed). It's equivalent to asking the KKK which race they think causes more problems when covering a BLM protest...
