I watched and didn't see it. Investigative reporters, cops and FBI agents never saw it. Oh sure, there was some isolated election fraud as is often the case but nothing close enough to sway the results as you claim. Certainly no proof was adduced in any of the myriad court hearings about the issue, and MAGA had ample opportunity to make its case: EPIC FAIL. Only you saw it. 'Nuf said... |

An ultra-liberal progressive Portland city council member had her car and home set on fire in what appears likely to be a politically motivated act of arson, presumably by a disgruntled person very much against her liberal / progressive agenda. With all the increasiing violence against politicians in this divided land of ours I fear fewer and fewer capable people will seek public office, leaving our governance to dolts, ideologues and Kool-Aid swilling numbskulls. news item: https://www.wweek.com/news/city/2025/10/26/police-investigating-fire-that-consumed-councilor-candace-avalos-car/ |

This is impossible. You said there is no more violence in Portland. War is peace. Freedom is slavery. Ignorance is strength |

Liar, liar, keyboard on fire...I NEVER said that. I did claim that the conditions at the ICE in stumptown do not warrant federal intervention; of course there's violence...a protester pushed a guard...and arrests were made by PPD. Why not leave your cave and hope a bus to stumptown and see for yourself...much ado about nothing...per the MAGA playbook. |

Why would I want to go to that hole? No good reason to go there. War is peace. Freedom is slavery. Ignorance is strength |

I was raised in NJ, did college in the South and decided not to settle in either place; spent a few months traveling the USA: really liked Boulder, Colorado and Albequerque, New Mexico but none of them come close to beating stumptown for The Good Life. This protest shit now is limited to a few blocks, easy to avoid, and when it was bad during Covid it was still mostly in a section of downtown and easy to avoid. I pretty much avoid downtown: life is great in the suburbs. But I can see why tourists might not want to come here now, downtown has not made a comeback post-covid and there's shitloads of homeless: easy to avoid for we locals. But stumptown / Oregon still have the important things that help make for a quality life: very clean air, skiing or the ocean an hour and a half away, close by four wheeling opportunities, no sales tax...what's not to like for those in the know? And the women...yeah, baby...sure, lots of chubbies and lesbos but otherwise the pickings have been great. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4N5TB0qbvoo |

Of course you missed the impetus for his grief which is care and concern over how the Feds are running roughshod: not just as to the shooting but mainly as to how ICE enforcement activity is negatively affecting local residents of stumptown and the surrounding area. It would be nice if the oaf choked up / shed a few genuine tears of grief over anything other than himself. Several U.S. Presidents have cried in public, including Barack Obama, George W. Bush, and Joe Biden, often during moments of national tragedy, Profound grief, or deep emotion, showing vulnerability while dealing with events like the Sandy Hook shooting, military funerals, or campaign milestones. While once seen as a sign of weakness, public displays of emotion by leaders have become more accepted. Maggots such as yourself and Trump need to work on your sense of caring and compassion for your fellow citizens. Thanks for posting your valuable PSA. |
