I care a lot more about what a dog is doing than I do about politicians or their loyal pundits on message boards. At my age a Life In Prison sentence is not much of a detrrent. |

There are, of course, exceptions to the general rule. WWII comes to mind, and with it the actions of FDR / Truman, Churchill and Stalin. Men with a plan. |

Says the guy who was a career employee & never signed the front of a paycheck in his life. We're supposed to take you "insights" about the economy and what's good for American business seriously? So let's get this right, less Government deficit spending means a mildly reduced GDP estimate? 2-3% GDP growth in 2022 is "grim"? I'll take that without the $4T addition to the National Debt. Evidently Manchin, Sinema & Tester & 50 GOP Senators agree with me. The House Plant's Socialist dreams are just wilting right in front of our eyes. Def. of Liar - "A Person Who Tells Lies" / "I lied. Good! Have you seen the inflation rate for this year? Of course the GDP outlook would be higher when the Government is spending a crapton of money that it can't afford to spend. "War is the remedy that our enemies have chosen..let us give them all they want." William T. Sherman |

That's not being against business; that's being pro small business, something the Left wouldn't know anything about. Whatever the spending bill in question is, you can be sure that no small business sees the advantages of it unless they bend over backwards to get it. What are you talking about with masks and vaccine mandates? Individual privately-owned businesses can do whatever the hell they want to vis-a-vis masks and vaccines. I'm not even sure what your last two sentences are meant to mean. If you want to support small and privately-owned businesses, then the easiest way to do that is just to go out and spend your money with them...that's the best form of support they could ever hope to get. They don't need the Government giving them anything; they need consumers making the choice to spend with them. "War is the remedy that our enemies have chosen..let us give them all they want."
