Who spends more time marching/rioting in the streets the left or the right? Trump had traditional political rallies trying to effect change the legal way. The left spends all their time using extreme measures to try and get their way anyway possible. The right has one rally that gets a little out of hand and it is the end of the world for the lefty sheeples.

I can dislike the Far Left and the Far Right equally, but the person Trump gives me a specific target (for my distaste). That said, I didn't vote for Biden.

The problem for the republicans is that in embracing Trump they have veered away from a moderate platform, just as Bernie and his ilk have veered away from the traditional democratic platform.

Both parties have a schism.

I often wonder about the inelligence and / or the veracity of Trumpies when they argue, wholly without a shred of proof, that the election was stolen.

Anybody with a functioning brain can see through the lie, yet seemingly intelligent (?) people embrace it and speak about it as if it is the word of god.

I guess it's less painful than wearing a big "L."

I used to live in DC
Every single issue is protested in DC
I saw it myself
Whatever the cause, they will organize something in DC be it big or small
Lots of room on the National Mall park and really wide avenues.
As to the right
Personally saw plenty of pro tobacco, pro gun, pro Israel, anti abortion rallies.
Dont forget the Tea Party protests
The left does not have a monopoly on protests. Thats laughable

The democrats do not look at Biden the same way republicans view Trump, as a messiah, a savior, the pied piper of the republirats.

There is no "cult of personality" with Joe Biden, unlike with Trump.

One could easily compare Trump in America to Hitler in Germany, except Trump likes the Jews, at least his son-in-law does.

Absolutely
I judge Biden issue to issue as any President should be judged
Take marijuana
Totally disagree with Biden. Get with the times. Stop being so old fashioned

Agree. But I can also state that ‘seemingly intelligent people’ think having continuous multi trillion dollar spending bills while total tax revenue is 3.7 trillion is good policy. That seemingly intelligent people think that giving extra unemployment benefits that prevents small private businesses from finding workers is good policy. That paying families for having more children than they can afford is good policy. Frankly, believing Democrat policies are good for the country is as indicative of a ‘small brain’ as believing the election was ‘stolen’. There are really two big lies. One is that the election was stolen. The other is that Democrat policies are good and sustainable. It is really hard to argue that either of those statements are not correct.

As a left leaning liberal I worry about Democrat overreach. For you though, it returns the Republicans to the majority in 2 years.

My left leaning stance is strictly incrementalism though.

Quote:

Incrementalism in government and political science is a method of achieving sweeping changes in public policy through the enactment of small policy changes over time. To succeed, incrementalism, also known as "gradualism", depends on mutual interaction, input, and cooperation among a multiplicity of individuals and groups representing different values and interests. Simply stated, the process of incrementalism may be best expressed by the old axiom, “How do you eat an elephant? One bite at a time!”

The republican party has changed and its scary
Supreme court hearing abortion cases.
That's real scary with the religious judges in charge
MS referendum passed medical MJ
The republicans dont care, they are against and won't obey the voters.
All over the country Republicans want less people to vote and are passing laws limiting democracy
McCarthy won't let a bipartisan committee investigate the Capital riots because he does not want the truth exposed.
How about gay marriage
How about Trump blowing up the defecit.
I could go on and on
Trump destroyed the Republican party insuring 8 years of Biden
You should be furious at Trump and the Republicans, not Dems

I sort of pity the republicans.

They've attached their caboose to a crazy train.
