I've read that of all the "single issue" voters out there, the greatest number is for or against abortion. Usually a politician who takes sides on one of those "single issues" also meets a laundry list of similar viewpoints. Sometimes there are big exceptions. Republican Ileana Ros-Lehtinen age 69, was a Representative for 20 years. Her district was heavily Democratic, but she has huge personal magnetism partly because she was born in Cuba and was one of the first two Latinas elected to congress. Ros-Lehtinen gave the first Republican response to the State of the Union address in Spanish in 2011. But her son -> daughter is transgendered, so she supports transgendered rights, which is not common among Republicans. In September 2011, Ros-Lehtinen became the first Republican member of the U.S. Congress to co-sponsor the Respect for Marriage Act, which would repeal the Defense of Marriage Act. In July 2012, Ros-Lehtinen became the first Republican in the House to support same-sex marriage. |

How would they do that? You are very confused at how SCOTUS works if you think the court would be the one that did that. The President is a fink. |

You probably think all cases manage to just get to the Supreme Court only by accident. You believe in an invisible god, and dismiss people who say they are trans? Really? |

How does that relate to the court doing what you claim they can do? The court just decides what is in front of it. The President is a fink. |

Same way they'll probably redecide gun laws, abortion and possibly separation of church and state. They already decided a cross symbol doesn't represent any religion, so it doesn't violate separation of church and state. They may decide the Ten Commandments represent general principles and you can put them in State buildings. There's also some argument that church and state only mean religion can't be intertwined with government, so you could practice it anywhere within the government beyond simple prayers. Where have you been that you haven't heard of this? Dementia catching up with you? You believe in an invisible god, and dismiss people who say they are trans? Really? |

That is still not the SCOTUS implementing something. The President is a fink. |

Sure does. It doesn't happen without them. If the court were currently dominated by liberals those things wouldn't happen at all. Might as well deny you're getting wet while getting rained on. You believe in an invisible god, and dismiss people who say they are trans? Really? |

It could happen. A case involving prayer in schools or erecting monuments to commemorate someone or something could be brought and the court could indeed rule in favor of prayer in schools or allowing monuments. They can and do use litigation to effect what they feel is needed political / cultural change. Their is no appeal from their decisions, and the majority rules: no wonder the republicans are as happy as a nympho at a Shriner's convention. |

You act like this has not been the MO of the left for generations. The President is a fink. |
