It still blows me away that Parasite crushed at last year's Oscars. Sometimes we live no particular way but our own - Grateful Dead "Eyes of the World" |

Given that Moonlight beat La La Land for the best picture of 2017, it is amazing that the Academy thinks these directives are necessary. |

This is considered entertainment? Glenn Close knowledge must have been set up earlier. The dance was embarrassing. I wonder what was bleeped out. The whole year was a covid fallout on movie going. Wasn't even remotely planning on watching. You believe in an invisible god, and dismiss people who say they are trans? Really? |

Kind of funny Academy used to be so conservative Now they are trying to be too Black and hip and its falling right on its face. I remember back in the day when hosts such as Billy Crystal would hit it out of the park as a host. Who produced this years disaster I was really blown away at how much Korean was spoken. They could have had videos of all the directors give their own descriptions of directing in English. Instead they have Bong Joon Ho say it all in korean with subtitles. WTF. What a disaster of a show. But Kudos to Nomadland, Frances Mcdormand without makeup , Chloe Zhao and real nomads Linda May and Swankie Sometimes we live no particular way but our own - Grateful Dead "Eyes of the World" |

I will probably also check out The Father soon - Anthony Hopkins’s performance in the clip they showed looked amazing. “A straight man will not go for kids.” - AZDuffman |
