This happens all the time. Mail in votes tend to favor Democrats. In person votes tend to favor Republicans. So since in person votes are counted quicker….

The same thing happens in States with large rural Republican areas, and large Democrat slums. The Republican votes tend to be counted much quicker, often with the Republican building a substantial lead, then when the slum and mail in votes get tallied the Democrat cruises to victory. Not evidence of fraud, just evidence of which candidate appeals to which demographic.

CA is absolutely run by rejects from the idiot farm but this happens all the time. I remember about 1998 NY AG race til a week but that was like once. And tech of 30 years ago.

Thank the gods for large Democratic slums. They provide ta dollars to Republican rurals for running water and paved roads. Red areas would be bankrupt if they actually had to pay their own way.
