I visited The Hermitage as well. But the one I went to is the largest art gallery in the world, in St. Petersburg, Russia. I’m surprised a museum in the US would copy the name from the original Hermitage. I guess ‘hermitage’ has its own definition. |

The tour guide said that it derives from French and kind of means remote country home. When he built it, Nashville was just a small town a days ride away Sometimes we live no particular way but our own - Grateful Dead "Eyes of the World" |
