Nobody in my extended family died in Vietnam, must never have happened....

You don't know anybody who died
of covid either.

Died? No, not in my family (well I think I heard from my parents of a second cousin, or cousin once removed or something, nobody I knew personally, but I come from a huge family), so technically speaking probably, yes, in my "extended family" (which was your original comment).

But, I do know several people infected. Not good, many young strong (otherwise healthy) people taken to the verge of death. I can imagine it is even more disastrous on the elderly of medically fragile.

I do know that I know more people who have had COVID this year than had the flu....

But, the bottom line is, I get my flu shot every year. I will stand in line to get a COVID shot, I think it is just as important if not more so.

I also have received the polio vaccine, and I don’t know anyone that died of polio.

And you don't find that odd.

So many people were dying in April, NYC funeral homes and crematoriums couldn’t keep up with the demand. One had more than 100 bodies in his chapel, so he began stacking dozens of bodies in rented U-Haul trucks on the street. After a few days, neighbors reported the sickening stench and fluid dripping from the trucks.

Ah, so the libbies say that wearing a mask is "No big deal", right?? WRONG

Dentists say 'mask mouth' can cause serious health complications, including strokes

The article says:
Quote:
The dentists said that the face coverings increase mouth dryness and contribute to a buildup of bad bacteria.

But somehow I have a sneaking suspicion that libbies (who claim to love doctors) won't listen to these doctors because it doesn't fit their narrative. Damn hypocrites 🙄

I don't know if it's related, but I have a damned straight-up sinus infection right now. I'm prone to the occasional (every few years or so) ear infection, but this is probably only the second sinus infection I've had in my life.

I'm usually not big on attempting self-diagnosis, but my symptoms check literally every box for acute sinusitis of the left maxillary sinus. It's not so bad, except for this on-again, off-again (but mostly on) terrible smell inside of my nose for hours at a time. Flonase kind of helps, but not a ton. Hopefully, this will only last a few more days; it seems to be getting better.

Lots of hocking and spitting, but it's almost less appalling to swallow it because the taste gets in your mouth if you spit it. It's truly repulsive. I'm unbothered by any of the symptoms except the smell and taste.

Do I find it odd? No. 2%ish of the population diagnosed, and 1-2%ish of them die (those numbers are from the top of my head, I think they are roughly right)…

So no, not really odd at all. I know several people diagnosed which is already statistically irregular. 170k Deaths in the U.S. is it really that supposing nobody you know personally knows any of them out of 320 Million (again many of the deaths very old and often already isolated in nursing homes -I think about half lived in nursing homes-). So even of the already small number, many of deaths are people isolated from society, so its not a crazy to think that you don't know any (unless you spend a lot of time in nursing homes).

Mission: Use OTC decongestants, such as pseudoephedrine (Sudafed) or Antihistamine /pseudoephedrine combinations (Allegra-D, Zyrtec-D).

Anyone notice the old switcheroo this guy just tried pulling?

You originally said:

fam knows of even ONE
who has died of covid.
*bold red = mine

You specifically said that no one in your extended family knows of anyone who died of COVID. This is different from saying that no one *IN* your extended family died of COVID.

But the libbie tried the old switcheroo and responded by saying that no one *IN* his extended family died in Vietnam (which, again, is different from saying that no one in his extended family knows of anyone who died in Vietnam).

This little switcheroo is one reason why I blocked him. Libbies in general do this crap all the time, and I can't stand it. 🙄
Also, this guy wasn't even born until years after Vietnam (maybe two decades afterward?). And I guarantee that someone in his extended family back then knew of someone who died in Vietnam.

There's a lot of "stuff" that gets eliminated from the body when a person exhales, but those dumb masks cause you to breath some of that stuff back in, so it wouldn't surprise me if the masks caused it.
