If my stupid ass neighbor would stop watering her plants even when it rains creating pools of standing water nearby I'd likely not have as many mosquitos. You believe in an invisible god, and dismiss people who say they are trans? Really? |

I would rather spend 365 days a years sweating with bugs than spend one single day in the snow. At my age a Life In Prison sentence is not much of a detrrent. |

Winter here lasts about 10 weeks. From the middle of Dec to the 1st of March. It's over before you notice. Nothing to do outside anyway with it getting dark at 5;30.. Humidity and bugs never lets up for all 12 months. If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose. |

It sounds like 10 weeks of misery to me. Of course, I try to head south when vegas gets cold. At my age a Life In Prison sentence is not much of a detrrent. |

It is 10 weeks of misery. If I learn to code I hope to do the same. Maybe we can grab a beer and do some sports bets. The President is a fink. |

Miserable how. Do you think we live outdoors? We're inside a house just like you are in NV when it's 110 outside. It's no worse than being outside in Vegas June thru Sept which is alot longer than 10 weeks. I wouldn't live in Vegas if it was free, it's like being in prison. If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose. |

When it gets cold it stays cold. If it is 110 here it will drop to a comfortable 90 at night and then I can go to the grocery store or put gas in my cars. If it is 20 degrees out i couldn't leave the house for weeks. I golfed this morning and it was 65 degrees at 7am. I froze. At my age a Life In Prison sentence is not much of a detrrent. |

At night? I never leave the house after 5pm, why would I. I lived in a no cold no snow climate in Santa Barbara for 7 years and was sorely disappointed that I was just as restricted there as I was in the MI climate in the winter. It started to get dark at 4:30 and was dark by 5 in Dec-Jan. It was in the 50's but that soon felt cold and I had to wear a jacket. It was either raining or windy and cold so golf was a joke. There were nice days here and there but there are lots of them here to. 10 weeks is not a long time. We rarely get snow here before Dec 10th or after Feb 28th. As far as Vegas goes, it's one of the butt ugliest cities in the country. Brown better be your favorite color and strip malls better be your fave building type because that's 90% of Vegas. Desert and one story strip malls. If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose. |
