I don’t know what he’s referring to specifically. I’ve certainly not read every single post AMS has ever made, but of the ones I have read, most have seemed to contain opinion-based claims rather than fact-based claims. Opinion-based claims can appear to be more valid, or less valid, depending on what is used to support the opinion. Fact-based claims, on the other hand, are easier to prove either valid or invalid pretty conclusively.

Like the fact-based claim that the polls are fifteen points off because they were in 2016. That’s easy to prove invalid because the results were not fifteen points off relative to the polls, except perhaps you might find an individual state with low/unreliable polling where they were (not sure), but certainly not nationally.

And with all due respect to EvenBob, I don’t see the percentage in making ridiculous claims. As far as my opinion on the Election, I think it’s a virtual coin-flip—my opinion is the polls likely underrepresent Trump by some amount and, as always, only a handful of states actually matter.

They should quit wasting money on national polls, cross forty states off the list, and then devote all resources to getting the most accurate polls possible in the states that might be relevant.

And yes, ams, I’d say the likelihood of a pee tape IS greater that the polls underestimating Trump votes by 15%.

And Ed, of course ALL of ams’ thoughts are valid to him, but certainly most are not to the rest of us. His anti Trump hatred prevents him from looking at anything Trump through a clear glass. I, on the other hand, can list Trump problems, issues, mistakes, for hours. But I am not blinded by a hatred of him, and see that having ‘anyone but a Democrat’ is better for the country. People like you and ams can’t do that. And yes... it’s a symptom of TDS.

Not that you asked, but Jo Jorgensen is a person who is not a Democrat. Since you're in New York and your POTUS vote doesn't matter anyway, why not toss Jo a vote just to be nice?
