My wife got covid two and a half weeks ago and she still sick as a dog. I have to listen to her everyday on the phone scared that she's never going to get better. And she had all the immunizations and all the boosters. I've had none of it. If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose. |

LOL Fully immunized does NOT mean fully protected. I never was told by science that getting the jabs would PREVENT me from contracting covid; I was told that the vax would likely LESSEN the effects of the flu when and if contracted, and that has been the case for the two of us. Not all vaccines prevent an illness as does the smallpox vax. The covid virus appears to have new variants arise from time to time: this complicates things. I know, you couldn't resist your smarmy reply but riddle me this: if as may be you and / or some of the other righteously unvaccinated bobble heads here are senior citizens and / or have underlying health issues such as diabetes...How well do you think you'll fare when and if The Covid Kid knocks at your door? Perhaps when / if you are intubated, fighting for your life, your chest feeling like cement you might have second thoughts about the vax? Whatever...we all make our choices, and I've no regrets: the vaccine seems to have worked as intended. |
