I tend to agree. Perhaps not any sort of a pragmatic screw up, (except very early in the pandemic) but not using it as an opportunity to unite both sides. In my opinion, W. had a great playbook for that...even though it was less than a year into his term, I think W. would have been a one-term POTUS had 9/11 not happened.

Hard to unites sides when the other side is buys impeaching you for making a phone call and calling you "racist" for shutting down travel.
