I'm sometimes reminded that Trump started out as a Democrat. How much does he care about Republicans? He seems to have decided he can do what he wants without Congress , so why worry about mid-terms? I think he is going to find out, but I myself don't know what to expect exactly

It would explain why he took no pains to sell the idea of this military action before undertaking it

Once Trump is done (officially not running again,) all of those GOPers will come out of the woodwork to complain about him endlessly. But, none have the guts to do so while he is in power because they are afraid of being bullied. But, watch all of the cited ones, who brown nose him now come after him critically once he is gone...

Republicans won't do anything because (1) Donny's SCOTUS picks ended Roe (2) Donny gave them tax cuts (3) Donny is trying to end civil rights protections against blacks and gays and (4) Donny is trying to end EPA protections against pollution. All of these topics are GOP fever dreams for decades.
