In 5 min I could find 5 posts in April alone where you've mention gay Pete. You hate "them" because they mention it every freaking time, yet you become that character for us here. You ARE what you lament. Look around. There's more to see than the abyss. Be bold and risk defeat, or be cautious and encourage it. |

Not in the slightest. The only time gayness made me feel awkward is when I've hit on an unknown lesbian. My clique in college was all the music and drama kids; turns out the only difference between me and the dandies is where we want to put our d#$%s. Which also describes the relationship between me and my best friend. So... I guess it's not different at all. What makes me uncomfortable is hypocrisy. "All they ever do is mention he's gay. It's stupid. I will react by only ever mentioning he's gay." Yeah. Dunno why, but that does make me uncomfortable. I love NPR, but when they get into a left leaning misinformation piece on gunner life, I turn it off because it's garbage unfit for consumption, let alone promotion. Try it sometime. Be bold and risk defeat, or be cautious and encourage it. |

I fail to see why the press would not mention it every time. He is a small city mayor who the odds makers now have ranked just below Bernie, Joe, and Kamala. It is perfectly obvious that what makes him unique is that he is openly gay and married to a man. |
