Biden, like Kerry, has a ton of baggage and it will be easy to 'swiftboat' him. Gandler has no idea what I mean, he was 10 in 04. lol If you take a risk, you may lose. *14* We studied that election in social sciences that year. I don't know what happened, there are differing accounts. And, I don't really care, John Kerry is not getting the nomination. If Biden drops it will go to one of the others in line. But one thing is certain: at least he went to Vietnam unlike somebody else. How many wartime medals and ribbons did Trump earn? Oh zero? Ok then....... |

So you are saying Biden wasn't smart enough to get out of military duty. At my age a Life In Prison sentence is not much of a detrrent. |

A lot of people care about Trump dodging the Draft (especially since now he is apparently "The most healthy President of all Time") and cannot recall which leg he had spurs in (clearly a lie to get out of the draft). He went to Vietnam (volunteered not drafted) and then volunteered for a combat position (could have very easily got out of it with his rank and connections, if he wanted he could have been a desk Officer in Florida through the war, and nobody would question him.....). He earned his medals. He has a right to do what he wants with them when he gets back. John Kerry is a hero in my book both in war and in his time in politics. Not to mention his work with Israel. |

Biden was never in the military. He was a student at the time of the draft. |

You were too young I guess. When it was politically good for him he said he threw his medals over the fence. Years later when that looked bad he said he threw someone else's medals, not his.
He was an attention whore in the military and in politics. He took whatever position was good for him at the time. Just a typical liberal pol. A hero? Not one bit. He basically said under oath that he committed war crimes for crying out loud. The President is a fink. |
