It is a requirement for merely living. And an ID is a requirement for filling out I-9, which is a requirement for any straight job. It has been a requirement to open a bank account for nearly 20 years. It is a requirement for so many things that you have to go out of your way not to have a legit ID. I am tired of hearing some 1 in 1000 example of someone who legit does not have an ID because of some strange sequence of events. Get with the program and get an ID. And quit being too cheap to pay for one as an excuse. The only reason to be against voter ID laws is because you want to allow fraud. Nobody against them has shown a legit reason yet. The President is a fink. |

Sorry, a guy who claims taxes are stealing has zero credibility in asking someone to pay to exercise their constitutional right to vote. You believe in an invisible god, and dismiss people who say they are trans? Really? |

AZ.... you lose on this one As long as there is a $1 charge to get this ID a liberal will argue that there are those that fill up their base that don’t actually live in modern society. So TAKE AWAY that argument. The cost to give the few that have no real ID an ID is less than a ROUNDING ERROR on any budget. Take away the PATHETIC argument the liberals use.... that an ID that costs $1 is a poll tax. |

No, if you give them the free ID they will want something else. They will never give up on wanting to enable election fraud. I understand the liberal thought process. Demand an inch, then when you get it demand two more inches. Next they would say that people cannot get to the state office so we need to pay for an Uber. Or that they cannot take off work to do it so they will demand paid time off to get it. They will never admit the true reason to be against ID is to be in favor of easier vote fraud. If Bernie wins, it won't be because of Russia...it will because enough people voted for him to win the Electoral College vote. Same as President Trump... The only thing that will be "butt hurting" about it is the screwing we will take if he gets to implement his nutso policies. ***** I am okay with giving free voter IDs to people if that allows the complaints about the "poll tax" to go away... |

I don't find this convincing. For instance, how long do you think it would take to cast enough doubt on an elaborate foreign state developed hoax designed to seriously damage a candidate dropped 2 days before an election? Sure we can eventually expose it for what it is, but the public would surely be massively confused for 2 days with something so close to the presidential election. All you have to do is cast enough doubt on one or other of the candidates for that short period of time. And I'm talking about disinformation created by the expertise and money of a foreign state; a whole team of professionals developing the hoax for months in advance.
