He can have an opinion and defend his opinion because he's a priest, but I'm not allowed to?
You have to explain this, you lost me.

You are welcome to you opinions. But it's not a shock that a priest is against sex outside of marriage or that they are against nude photography. To argue with a priest about this issue is meaningless.

But if nobody argues with them, they'll
think they're right. They didn't allow
arguments for hundreds of years. In fact,
it you did argue with them, woe be unto
you. Ask the Jews who were forcibly
converted in the Inquisitions how they're
arguments went.

Evenbob, I'm happy to argue with you about this or anything. It's how we arrive at the truth. Notice I haven't posted anything religious on this thread. Just a simple statement that looking at naked women is reducing a human being to a sex object and that is never a good thing.
You haven't argued anything but claiming I'm judging you. Maybe you said that if you pay someone enough then they would be fine being your sex slave. I don't think that is a very good argument. Especially if you consider the reality of the porn industry and how it treats women and who it preys upon. I'm waiting for an argument from you about why it is okay to look at naked women. Is it just because they give you pleasure?

It is not because I am a priest that I am against sex outside of marriage or pornography.

Looking at any human being solely as an object for me to use for my pleasure is immoral. This naked 16 year old girl you are looking is not a sex object she is a human person with dignity and worth far greater than her looks, which you have reduced her to.

Here is a nice biblical story on the value of women. As background, before the destruction of Sodom and Gommorah, Lot had taken two angels into his house. The "they" refers to Lot and the two angles.

Quote: Genesis 19:4-8
Before they had gone to bed, all the men from every part of the city of Sodom—both young and old—surrounded the house. They called to Lot, “Where are the men who came to you tonight? Bring them out to us so that we can have sex with them.” Lot went outside to meet them and shut the door behind him and said, “No, my friends. Don’t do this wicked thing. Look, I have two daughters who have never slept with a man. Let me bring them out to you, and you can do what you like with them.

Yep, what a loving father. And looking at pictures of consenting full-grown women is sinful.

To be fair, recall that Abraham took his only son and was willing to sacrifice Isaac; his sign to God that Abraham believed and obeyed God without reservation.

Basically anyone can go through the Old Testament and find behavior which is difficult to reconcile with standards from the New Testament.

I can go thru the divinely inspired Playboy
Advisor and rebut all that's in the NT.
Prove the PA is not divinely inspired..

Finding an equal or even worse example of god's disdain for human life is not a good defense, at least for me.

I agree with that. Nevertheless, Jesus never repudiated anything in the Old Testament.

He fulfilled it and brought it to completion. Remember God was teaching and bringing people towards the fulfillment on His teaching in the person of Jesus Christ. In Him we definitively find the value of every human person, we find a repudiation of violence, the power of forgiveness, love over the law, and the gift of eternal life. All of these things that if you read the Old Testament are being gradually taught to the human race.

By the way pointing out a Biblical text does not make it right to look at naked women. What is your argument? Because people in the Bible did bad things it is okay for me to objectify and exploit women? I don't follow you.
